the eight internal conflicts
Internal conflict is said to be divided into eight internal conflicts.
I created this book with the intention of narrowing down what these eight conflicts represent visually, as well as creating an identity that people that read through can relate to. A person with these feelings is not bound to a singular conflict, and Identifying with more than one can hopefully give an individual more insight on to what is causing distress in their life.
tarot
This Tarot card deck was created to tell the story of humankind’s spiritual journey through simple imagery that sticks to the branding of the Internal conflict book. The fool’s Journey is a metaphor of your own journey through life and the phases and trials that you could possibly face along as you live your life internally and externally. These are 22 personal cards that display the eight types of conflict through their upright and reversed meaning. Each card carries symbols that represent life lessons and themes.

The images that I created for this book are set up to directly contrast the book’s branding, in order to create bold overlays for the contents of the books. With the use of bold typography, clear page overlays filled with expressive text, are combined with the Black & White images to create expressive pages to better visualize what internal conflict looks like.
